Vegan Cooking School Settings

So they are vegetarians and have that passionate love of food. Who want to pursue this passion, but I do not know what options are vegan cooking school there. Fortunately, there are many! There are some schools that focus on plant-based foods, and many who are not exclusively vegetarian can be directed towards you, so you can not cut the preparation of chicken and fish if you are not there.

There are lots of random classes of plant-based food in the world if you want something just for fun without any certification of fantasy. In this article, but I focus more on professional programs that have varying degrees of intensity. Some require little time and money if you do not want to be a professional chef, while others will only take the full distance to manage your own kitchen.

Without going into a particular order, here is a list of some popular schools around the world, and some information about each of them.

Living Light Culinary Arts Institute

Where is he? Fort Bragg, California

What do they offer? 100% vegetarian and raw food education

When programs are running? Several times a year, depending on the program

The Living Light Culinary Arts Institute is located in a small coastal community on the coast of Mendocino. If you like the sea, mild climate, and raw vegan food, you'll love this school. Directed by Cherie Soria, the "mother of raw food", it is raw food institute. That's what attracts people from all over the world and produces top-of-the-line of celebrity chefs all kinds.

There are several types of courses, including a gourmet chef Component Certification (6 weeks), Advanced Instructor Certification Training Series (4 weeks), Nutrition Educator raw series and the occasional full professional kitchen, which takes place almost entirely years, including a period of 250 days in school.

Many raw foods of known leaders in the world is going to the candles for their education, including Chad Sarno and Jennifer Cornbleet.

Natural Gourmet Institute

Where is he? New York, NY

What do they offer? Public classes and chef training, which are plant-based and vegan-friendly

Chef Training Program is offering an intensive, professional training, which can be taken part-time or full time, but it works 619 hours. This school does not teach people how to prepare seafood, chicken and eggs, but if you're vegan, you can opt out of it. This school teaches a wide range of cooking styles, such as how to ferment, made with raw food and macrobiotic foods, and Chinese medicine as well as drugs for cooking. The focus is on plant foods.

Natural Gourmet Institute offers a fun Friday night dinner, where members are people at school to prepare delicacies of experience in the public at large, communal tables (kynttilänvalossa!) So if you're in, you can swing and see what it is .

Academy-Matthew Kenney formerly 105 degrees from the Academy

Where is it? Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

What do they offer? Certification Program raw foods chef

When programs? A month or more times a year, the more advanced classes

Matthew Kenney offers very small classes and personal raw food chef training (usually 4-8 people). It is designed for beginners and chefs alike.

There are two training sessions of 4 weeks - Level 1: Fundamentals of raw foods, and Level 2: Advanced Kitchen Raw. The level of a course held each month and is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 to 15:00. Level 2 course runs four times a year and the same time as the class level.

Cordon Vert School

Where is it? Altrincham, Cheshire, United Kingdom

What do they offer? The recreational classes and workshops vegetarian, a degree program of professional chefs

When programs? Several times during the year, the programs are short

The school offers classes Cordon Vert place of the Vegetarian Society, and there's even space for housing. They have a variety of vegetarian dishes, between 1 and 2 workshops per day, recreation classes, and professional classes. His professional grade class, one week is available only to professional chefs. However, its workshops and courses are open to public recreation, and often occur during the year.

Natural Epicurean Academy of Culinary Arts

Where is it? Austin, Texas

What do they offer? Full program of professional chef, who is a vegan-friendly, public classes

When programs are running? Begins each August and February

This school specializes in vegetarian, vegan, macrobiotic, ayurvedic preparation of food and raw food. They provide a complete program of 900 hours of training cook. All training takes about a third of the year, if you jump directly to a training course. This is an intensive course that prepares you to work organic kitchen completely.

They also offer public courses, but they are rare and rarely because of the emphasis on training professional cook.

Natural Cooking School

Where is he? Boulder, Colorado

What do they offer? Vocational training as a basic course, with the possibility of going beyond

When programs are running? Most are in the fall and spring

The basic course in the School of Natural Cooking is a graduate of 16 weeks where they learn the basics, making bread, food, nutrition and more. If you make a very strong brand in this course, you can take a course of 4 weeks or staff training for teachers chef. However, to continue the training of teachers, who must have finished their classes and have five years experience with natural foods.

The courses are usually offered in fall and spring semester and run through a typical semester.

Vegan Culinary Academy

Where is it? Languis California

What do they offer? Online courses and 1,000 hours of professional training

When programs are running? Anytime

Two highlights of this school - first, someone who is looking for a professional learning opportunity to be here and can be completed within six months to two years depending on how you work, and secondly, provide a distance education program. The online program is only necessary to have a camera and a computer with internet access and each student receives personal attention from instructors, as well as classroom materials and lessons. Learning is aimed at those who are already leaders, dieticians and food service managers.

Heaven on Earth Vegetarian Institute

Where is it? Hamilton-Stoney Creek, Ontario

What do they offer? Vegan, macrobiotic and Ayurvedic 3-module program

When programs are running? In mid-October to mid March for the three modules

This institute offers comprehensive health counselor certification program and a kitchen that works in three modules, and goes beyond the kitchen. It delves into many aspects of overall health, including changes in yoga, pranayama, diet and lifestyle to prevent disease, and the preparation of healthy foods. All food is vegetarian, with the exception of a class, which includes fish.

Natural Kitchen Cooking School

Where is he? Mercer Field, New Jersey, Haddonfield, New Jersey and New York

What do they offer? Natural Chef Training

When programs? October to May, one weekend a month

This school has several locations and occur on weekends, making it more accessible. Small class sizes (12 or less), so personal attention and assistance can be given.

This list is not exhaustive, but covers a large vegan-friendly cooking schools out there. Every year more and more small classes pop up in different cities, so if you're just looking for something fundamental, and not interested in pursuing a career in the kitchen, check out what the city (or nearby city) has to offer.
